Fifty7

Fifty7 is the third beer in our brand-new Long Man Creations range. This crafty pale ale certainly stands out from the herd and is dedicated to our 57 cows.

Our cattle are an essential part of our regenerative farming cycle. They are excellent grazers and help us to maintain one of our planet’s most vital renewable resources – our soil.

The cows enjoy a tasty diet of coarse grass, straw from our arable crops, and spent grains from the brewing process, known as ‘brewers grains’. This rich mix of feed is an excellent source of protein and digestible fibre, which, in turn, generates farmyard manure. We use this valuable organic matter, packed with nutrients, to fertilise our soil and allow our barley to flourish.

Not only does this process enable us to create our award-winning beer, but it has a wider benefit to the delicate ecosystems on the farm by bringing back local flora and fauna that were once in decline.

So, here’s to the fabulous FIFTY 7.
